At Seva Shourjya Sangsthan (SSS), our mission is to empower communities through accessible healthcare, skill development, and disability support, ensuring every individual has the opportunity to lead a healthy and self-sufficient life.

Our Story

Founded in 2011

Seva Shourjya Sangsthan has grown to become a cornerstone of support in Tripura and neighboring regions. Over the past decade, we have focused on eliminating avoidable blindness, providing skill development opportunities, and supporting individuals with disabilities. Our efforts have reached over 9 lakh individuals, and our journey continues with the support of compassionate individuals like you.

Our Projects

Mobile Eye Clinic

Our Mobile Eye Clinic is a revolutionary initiative aimed at bringing essential eye care services to the doorstep of those who need it most in Tripura and the Barak Valley of Assam. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by experienced professionals, our clinic offers free eye examinations, glaucoma management, cataract screening and surgery, diabetic retinopathy screening (on wheels) and more to economically disadvantaged populations.

Disability Support Camps

Our disability support camps provide crucial assistance to individuals with disabilities, offering medical care, assistive devices, and vocational training. These camps have benefited over 3000 people, empowering them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

Skill Development Workshops

We believe in the power of education and skills. Our workshops, attended by over 16,000 participants, focus on vocational training, self development , life skills, IT literacy, and other essential skills, helping individuals improve their employability and achieve economic independence.

Mobile Diabetic Retinopathy

Our Mobile Diabetic Retinopathy Screening project is a beacon of hope. We aim to utilize OCT technology, an advanced eye-scanning system that detects the earliest signs of retinal damage at a microscopic level—long before any loss of vision is apparent. This early detection is pivotal; it can prevent the need for invasive and expensive treatments, thereby saving sight and financial hardship.
